a national level development
bank promoted by Non
Resident Nepalese, has
successfully completed 2
years of its operations.
Sanima has been able to earn
Operating Profit of Rs. 18.3
million in the fiscal year
2062/63. At the same time,
it has been able to earn a
Net Profit of Rs. 8.65
million.
Sanima has been able to earn
Net Profit in all the fiscal
years since its operation.
The Deposit and Loan
portfolio for Rs. 750
million and Rs. 760 million
at the end of fiscal year
2062/63 increased by Rs. 360
million and Rs. 320 million
respectively making the
former, Rs. 1.11 billion and
the later, Rs. 1.08 billion
in the first quarter of the
current fiscal year 2063/64.
Sanima has been providing
foreign currency
transactions related
services (except Letter of
Credit), evening counter
facility, non funded
facilities and safe deposit
locker facility since the
last fiscal year.
The total Foreign
Currency Deposit portfolio
of Sanima at the end of
first quarter of FY 2063/64
is equivalent to Nepali
Rupees 216 million and the
portfolio of non fund based
facilities provided by
Sanima at the same point of
time is Rs. 41.8 million.
There are no non
performing loans of Sanima.
With the public issue and
allotment of 30% of its
shares to the general
public, the paid up capital
of Sanima has become Rs. 320
million, making Sanima the
financial institution with
the highest paid up capital
among all the private sector
development banks and
financial institutions ("B"
category).
