Tourism Development Bank
Ltd. has introduced
innovative schemes and a
dynamic range of business
plans to create business and
employment opportunities. As
a new bank established to
support Nepal's tourism
sector, it has a special
focus on tourism and
infrastructure development.
Tourism Development Bank has
an authorized capital of Rs.
1.28 billion and an issued
capital of Rs. 640 million.
The promoters have put up Rs.
400 million or 62.50 percent
of the total paid-up
capital. The rest of the
shares will be offered to
the public within the second
year of its operation, the
bank said. As a national
development bank, its head
office has been established
at Thamel in Kathmandu.
